WW II pilot Jim Boyle, who had learned to fly B-25s by May of 1945 and subsequentially went onto a career in the Air Force flying fighters, bombers and transports. He spent two years teaching at the Air Force Academy in Colorado in the early 1960s before going on a tour in Vietnam flying C123s. Jim will be the guest speaker at the November 3, 2007 meeting of the Eighth Air Force Historical Society of Oregon quarterly meeting.
